Lynne LaCour our Neighborhood Liaison and Pride Center Manager has planned a meeting for Wednesday Sept. 18th 5pm-6:30pm Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Dept. of Neighborhoods, City Attorney’s Office, Columbus Public Health, Ohio EPA, and the owner of a company called, Innovative Organics. The purpose is to answer questions about a recent investigation and a plan of action.
If you are not aware, there has been a wretched stench in our neighborhood coming from a composting operation Innovative Organics on Alum Creek. Neighbors are complaining on Nextdoor and are calling the Mayors Office, The Department of Neighborhoods and did attent our last BCA meeting. Members from our community requested the BCA to help address this concern. Lynn LaCour was contaced and we requested her help with correct information about what action were being taken by the City of Columbus, EPA and Franklin County.
Please plan to attend and let your neighbor know that this will be their chance to discuss their concerns this is an open meeting.
